  Cindy Ventrice, President
  Potential Unlimited Seminars

Cindy Ventrice has been offering consulting and training services since 1984, initially as an Enterprise Resource Planning consultant. In that capacity, she headed hundreds of implementation teams in a variety of different  organizations.

Early in her career, Cindy noticed that there were two distinctly different types of workplaces. One where people are energetic, motivated and committed, the other where people show up but emotionally they are still at home in their fuzzy slippers.

She observed that her teams in the motivated work environment were able to quickly and effectively complete project assignments while having fun in the process. On the other hand, teams in the disengaged work environment were ineffective, challenging, and frankly depressing to work with. Fascinated by what caused such a disparity, Cindy spent several years observing the dynamics of both the motivated and disengaged workforce.

Cindy went on to research this topic extensively. She has gathered feedback from hundreds of employees and managers about what motivates them at work. What she has learned has created the foundation for Potential Unlimited's programs regardless of the topic.

Cindy is the author of Make Their Day! Employee Recognition That Works, Berrett-Koehler 2003. She has written numerous articles and is a contributing author to four additional books.

Participants have found her programs entertaining, informative and applicable to their circumstances. What they are saying...

As a Past President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, and as a board member of the National Speakers Association's Northern California Chapter, Cindy is constantly improving both her presentation skills and the quality and content of her programs.
